The Royal Admiral made her maiden Australian Voyage in 1792 with Captain Essex Henry Bond in charge, chartered by the East India Company, arriving at Port Jackson Sunday 7 October 1792. The first of the convicts were landed on 8 October 1792.
In January 1996 we published Ladies of the Royal Admiral 1792, featuring the female Convicts, soldiers’ wives, convict wives and female children born of the voyage, along with transcript of the log of the Royal Admiral.
