Joseph was born c1762 at Withington near Hereford in England. As a private of the Royal Marines 11th (Portsmouth) Company, he arrived in NSW aboard the Alexander 1788.
He served with Captain Shea’s Company as part of the Port Jackson Garrison Joseph was sent to Norfolk Island aboard HM Supply in June 1789, on board were 15 marines and no convicts. Continue reading
John Aimsworth Drummer of the NSW Corps is actually John Armsworth – Harmsworth, Marine Child, Prince of Wales 1788, son of Thomas and Alice Harmsworth. He was born 1 Dec 1787 aboard the Prince of Wales, on the voyage to NSW. John arrived on Norfolk Island Oct 1791 with his mother, sister Ann and step father Daniel Stanfield aboard the Atlantic. William CABLE, Private, Royal Marines 33rd (Plymouth) Company Scarborough, HMS Sirius 1788. He served with Captain-Lieutenant Tench’s Company as part of the Port Jackson Garrison.

John Burt was born at Sale, Devonshire England. He arrived in NSW aboard the Royal Admiral in 1792 as a member of the NSW Corps. He arrived on Norfolk Island aboard the Daedalus in Nov 1794, returning to Sydney aboard HM Supply in Nov 1795.

John Arndell was born in London to Dr. Thomas Arndell and his first wife Susanna on 11 December 1781 London. he was baptized 5 Apr 1772 Saint Stephan Coleman Street London.
