Hannah Barnes (wife of Richard Barnes of the 102nd Regiment) gave birth to their son Francis Barnes on the voyage to Sydney.

Richard Barnes who held the rank of Corporal in the NSW Corps arrived in NSW 22 Nov 1800 in the colony on the Royal Admiral‘s 2nd voyage to Australia. The 1801 muster features Corporal Richard Barnes and his wife Hannah Barnes of Sydney, free, arrived Royal Admiral. This entry may have led to the confusion by some researchers that they arrived on the Royal Admiral in 1792, as there is no notion was entered stating which year (1792 or 1800) or the voyage I or II. Samuel Beachy and his wife Margaret Beachy arrived in NSW aboard the Barwell in 1798. Samuel being a member of the NSW Corps. He had formerly served in the 87th Regiment Irish Fusiliers, before enlisting in the 102nd Regiment on 12th Dec 1796.
They arrived on Norfolk Island in July 1800 aboard the Hunter with Joseph Foveaux NSW Corps Company.
