William Charlton, NSW Corps Neptune 1790

William enlisted enlisted July 1789 London England.

He arrived on Norfolk Island aboard the Kitty in February 1793. In 1793 on Norfolk Island he formed a relationship with Mary GETTOS – GETTY – GATEHOUSE, Convict Lady Juliana 1790. Mary arrived on Norfolk Island aboard the Surprize, in August 1790. Continue reading

William Powell, NSW Corps, Surprize 1794

William Powell enlisted into the NSW Corps in July 1793 from UK Veteran Savoy Military Prison in England; he arrived in NSW aboard the Surprize in 1794.

By 1801 he was serving as a private on Norfolk Island, He travelled to Norfolk Island most likely aboard the Lady Nelson in Oct 1801. He departed Norfolk island aboard the Francis in Nov 1802 .

William Powell Solider with the NSW Corps died 13 Aug 1807 Sydney, buried the same day at Old Sydney Burial Ground.

Dennis Keogh, NSW Corps, Hercules 1802

Dennis Keogh – Keough – Kough arrived is NSW as a private of the NSW Corps aboard the Hercules 1802.

He arrived on Norfolk Island aboard the Francis in Nov 1802 as Dennis Keough. He left Norfolk Island most likely aboard the Lady Nelson in Jan 1803. Dennis left the colony, returning to England from Sydney aboard the Calcutta in Mar 1804.

James McHenry, NSW Corps, Minorca 1801

James enlisted into the 102nd Regiment in 1801 in England, arriving in NSW aboard the Minorca in Dec 1801. He travelled to Norfolk Island with Captain Wilson aboard the Francis in Nov 1802

He served on Norfolk Island with the rank of private, James departed Norfolk Island aboard the HMCS Integrity on 3 August for Port Jackson. On his return he was stationed at Parramatta and the Hawkesbury. James was discharged in Apr 1810, he was still living in NSW in 1811.

William Morgan, NSW Corps, 1793

William Morgan enlisted into the 102nd regiment in Dec 1790 in England, arriving in NSW in 1793. He  was assigned to McArthur detachment. William travelled to Norfolk Island aboard the Francis in Nov 1802 returning to Sydney aboard the Union in Mar 1805.

William died in Nov 1808 in Sydney, buried 7 Nov 1808 Old Sydney Burial Ground.
