William Crumbuck – Crumpback – Crumpbuck enlisted into the NSW Corps in Jul 1789 with the rank of private in England. He arrived in NSW aboard the Active in 1791. William travelled to Norfolk Island aboard the Hunter in Jul 1800 with Joseph Foveaux NSW Corps Company.
He served as a private on Norfolk Island and returned to Sydney aboard the Union in Mar 1805. In Apr 1810 he was transferred to the Royal Veteran Company. William died March 1823 at South Head (burial unknown), an inquest was held into his death on 14 Mar 1823 at the South Head lighthouse. .
