The three Thomas Abel, sons of William Abel and Mary Ann Morey

William Abel aka Able, convict, Pitt 1792, arrived on Norfolk Island per Supply (2) in Mar 1796. Mary Ann Morey, convict, Britannia 1798, arrived on Norfolk Island between 1798 – 1799.

The Abel family departed Norfolk Island for Hobart per HMS Porpoise Dec 1807 with their three surviving sons: William, b. 1800, Thomas (3) b. 1805 and George b. 1806. William Able (sic) and Mary Ann Marie (sic) married 21 Dec 1811 New Norfolk.

Their first son was William Abel born on 10 Mar 1800 Norfolk Island, bap 19 Dec 1802 Norfolk Island by Rev. Fulton, recorded as Thomas Moreh with mother of Mary Ann Moreh.

There second son was Thomas Abel (1), born late 1801 who died as Thomas Able (sic), 12 Feb 1802.

There next two sons were also named Thomas.

Thomas Abel (2) born 14 Nov 1802, bap 19 Dec 1802 Norfolk Island by Rev. Fulton, recorded as Thomas Moreh with mother as Mary Ann Moreh. Died as Thomas Moreh 22 Feb 1803.

Thomas Abel (3) born 11 Feb 1805, bap: 25 Dec 1805 Norfolk Island by Rev. Fulton, Thomas Abel, son of William Abel.
