Marking Time: NSW History Week 2024

History Council NSWHistory Week will commence on Saturday 7 September and finish on Sunday 15 September 2024.

History Week is the annual, celebration of History organised by the History Council of New South Wales.

Australian History Research will be holding some webinars and events as part of  NSW History Week: Marking Time September 2024:

  • Saturday 7 Sep: 9.30am: Historic Tour of Sandridge Cemetery Mollymook: showcasing the early burials and pioneer families; to explore the rich local history of Milton Ulladulla and stories that echo through the gravestones. More Details
  • Saturday 7 Sep 1.30pm: Ulladulla Shipbuilding and Shipwrecks 1830s – 1860: Triumphs & Tragedies at Sea: Shipbuilding – Shipwrecks Ulladulla South Coast NSW – presented by historian Cathy Dunn, webinar will be broadcasted live on www.ulladulla.info Facebook
  • Saturday 7 Sept 3.30pm: Nature and Sources of colonial Norfolk Island’s BDMs 1788 – 1814:  presented by historian Cathy Dunn,  webinar will be broadcasted live on Australian History Research Facebook.
