Joseph was born c1762 at Withington near Hereford in England. As a private of the Royal Marines 11th (Portsmouth) Company, he arrived in NSW aboard the Alexander 1788.
He served with Captain Shea’s Company as part of the Port Jackson Garrison Joseph was sent to Norfolk Island aboard HM Supply in June 1789, on board were 15 marines and no convicts. Continue reading
Robert was born Feb 1770 Bristol, Somerset England, he enlisted into the NSW Corps in July 1789 in England, arriving in NSW the aboard Scarborough in 1790 with the rank of private.
He was promoted to Corporal in c1800. He most likely travelled to Norfolk Island aboard the Hunter in July 1800 with Joseph Foveaux NSW Corps Company. Robert held the rank of from as early as 1801 – 1804. He served on Norfolk Island for five years, returning to Sydney aboard the Union in March 1805. Continue reading

George Plyer was born c1759 at Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, England. He arrived in NSW as a private of the Royal Marines 30th Company aboard the Friendship in 1788. As George Player he was sent to Norfolk Island aboard HM Supply in June 1789.
