Muster of Settlers Hobart 1809: Norfolk Islanders

A General Muster of Settlers was conducted at the River Derwent Settlement VDL. This Muster recorded a total of 157 settlers, of whom 113 are identified as Norfolk Islanders. The muster provides valuable information about the composition of the early Hobart population, include size of land holdings, and numbers of people include wives and children who were on or off the stores.
