Phillip Gidley King returned to Norfolk Island on November 1791 per Atlantic; and finding the 1788 Government House in disrepair and thus built a new Government House, which was completed in December 1792.

First Fleeters departed Norfolk Island 1814

The Kangaroo departed Norfolk Island on 27 February 1814, marking the end of the island’s colonial settlement. Among this last group of people to leave, there were three First Fleeters.
